Rebekah Bhansali

Rebekah (she/her) is a nurse midwife and passionate advocate for reproductive justice, accessible health care for all, and decreasing maternal mortality. She has contributed to these causes by supporting families, women, and birthing persons through her work in community building, social services, and midwifery care in both local and global arenas. She appreciates the impact that cultural and individual experience have on shaping health care seeking behaviors, and the power of storytelling in engaging in conversations around social, health, and environmental issues. Theories of ecofeminism, transnational feminism, decolonization, and systemic racism guide her practice, writings, and research.
