O.school's Science Review Board

Everyone deserves access to sex education that’s positive, evidence-based, and medically accurate. O.school’s Science Review Board ensures all content on the website meets these high standards— so you can rely on it. The review board is made up of sexual health professionals with decades of cumulative experience, working in a range of positions across the field, from gynecologists, to sex researchers, to clinicians.

How does it work?

When new content is created for O.school any anatomical, medical, or scientific content is reviewed by a member of O.school’s Science Review Board to ensure it is accurate before it is published online.

Meet O.school's Science Review Board

Dr. Sarah Toler

Certified Nurse Midwife, Doctor of Nursing Practice

Dr. Toler specializes in reproductive mental health and focuses on the intersections where reproductive rights, mental health, healthcare access and equality meet. Through creating evidence-based health content, she hopes to improve access to reproductive health information for all people. She is a perinatal mental health advocate and currently contributes to several perinatal mental health action groups including Maternal Mental Health NOW and Postpartum Support International.

Dr. Uchenna Ossai

Licensed Pelvic Health Physical Therapist

Dr. Ossai (aka Dr. UC) is a board certified pelvic health physical therapist and founder of YouSeeLogic. She is also an assistant professor and manages the pelvic health physical therapy program in Dell Medical School at the University of Texas Austin. She is a certified sex counselor through the American Association of Sexuality Educators, Counselors and Therapists (AASECT) and an adjunct professor at the University of Michigan School of Social Work’s Sexual Health Certification program. Her clinical and research work focuses on pelvic floor dysfunction for marginalized communities, particularly women of color and the LGBTQIA community.

Louise Bourchier, MPH

Master of Public Health

Louise Bourchier is a sex educator and sex researcher with 8 years experience in the field. She teaches about sexual health, sexual pleasure, and communication in relationships through workshops, live-streams, and with written content. Using a sex-positive approach, a dash of humour, and bag full of fun props, Louise’s style of sex education for adults is not what you got in high school! Since 2011 she has taught over a hundred workshops to a wide range of audiences, from university students, to refugees, to medical professionals, to adult store clientele. She has a Masters of Public Health, and is currently a PhD candidate.
