Types Of Orgasm: Clit Orgasm Vs G-Spot Orgasm

The orgasm isn’t just one thing. It can come from different parts of your body, inducing different types of sensations.

In this stream, sex and pleasure education Louise Bourchier explains the difference between a clitorial orgasm and a G spot orgasm

Not everyone orgasms from clitoral stimulation, but those who do often experience just one focused “peak orgasm” per session. It can be difficult to have multiple clitoral orgasms as it can feel a bit sensitive after climax.

It’s more common for people to cum multiple times from a G spot orgam as the G spot can be slower to awaken with deeper stimulation. Bourchier says a G spot orgasm can have a warm sensation, with less focus. It’s more like a wave that can wash over you and then come again.

“[...] people report having an orgasm from G spot stimulation, and then kind of having another wave. So it's [a] less sharp peak, shall we say, than clitoral stimulation, but it's a more kind of rich waved orgasm sensation,” says Bourchier.

Overall, it’s best to just keep experimenting to find what method works best to get you there, whether it be clitoral, G spot, both, or something in between.

- With clitoral stimulation, some people can also, after they've had an orgasm from focusing on clitoral stimulation, some people can then, sort of, maintain the stimulation or quickly you know, come back to being stimulated, and have a second orgasm, or subsequent orgasm. So, that is true for many people, but for a lot of people, the clitoris feels too sensitive after an orgasm, to kind of want to continue, and so the clitoris tends to be more associated with just one, having just one orgasm, still a pretty good deal. But, they call the peak orgasm from clitoral stimulation, so it's kinda like, zheew, built up, yeah peak, and then kind of comes down and people go, "Okay, you know, now I'm feeling pretty good, and I can go to bed or have a bit of a rest." Whereas, with G spot stimulation, it's associated with a different kind of, what's the word? The graph looks different, shall we say? So, the G spot tends to be kind of be slower to awaken, and requires that kind of deeper stimulation. Then, it has this kind of like, more generalized warm sensation, and it's less kind of focus, and it doesn't so much have that kind of peak orgasm. It's almost kind of more like a wave for many people. So it's like, people report having an orgasm from G spot stimulation, and then kind of having another wave. So it's less sharp peak, shall we say, then clitoral stimulation, but it's a more kind of rich waved orgasm sensation. So what I can really say is just experiment, you know try what works for you.
