responsible for overseeing all of our social platforms (Facebook,
Instagram, Pinterest, and Twitter) and this includes our CEO/Founder’s
accounts as well.

O.school is looking for a full-time freelance social media editor who will be responsible for overseeing all of our social platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, and Twitter) and this includes our CEO/Founder’s accounts as well. Responsibilities (but are not limited to) writing captivating and engaging copy and providing intriguing thumbnails for individual posts — whether we’re promoting an article, original artwork, or an O.school event — and overseeing and growing social partnerships. Our social output and presence is designed to help amplify and grow traffic as well as help build and develop our audience.
The social media editor will work closely with the editorial team, ensuring every piece of content posted to social best represents O.school’s brand, voice, and succinctly conveys the article’s message and overall takeaway (in a way that compels the user to want to click through and read more!).
Along with creating posts across all channels, monitoring engagement, ideating new ways we can be reaching more people, the social media editor will be sending weekly reports that detail growth in referrals, as well as engagement and CTRs. The social media editor will report directly to the VP, Content Strategy.
The ideal candidate should:
-Have 2-3 years experience in the social media space — ideally working with publications in the past.
-Have a strong and comprehensive understanding of Facebook, Pinterest, Instagram, and Twitter.
-Have a background in Facebook Distribution and content optimization.
-Have strong writing skills as well as an eye for great imagery.

We work with a community of Pleasure Professionals that includes gynecologists, dating coaches, sex educators and therapists who cover a wide range of topics including health, consent, gender, sexuality, dating, sex after trauma, sex and disability, and more.
We're currently expanding our content team and publishing essays, interviews, and responses to current events related to sexual wellness and relationships.
